Jota's n-th attempt at thinking in public

I'm a SpongeBob meme, and that's part of the process, I guess

Sometimes you write all morning and, somehow, you end up with nothing at all written.

I spent the morning working on my Master's thesis project, which I will probably talk about tomorrow because I really need to write about it to advance, and a blog is probably a good way to unblock this block!

By working on I mean going through all the notes in my Obsidian vault that could relate to the theme, and the notes I took in articles when I did my first literature search, and tagging all the notes so I knew what went together, and jotting down thoughts.

So, of course, when lunch rolled around, I had zero words written. And I had an online class after lunch, so that was it for the day. That couldn't be it! I'm working today and tomorrow, and the presentation is on Monday, so I only have Sunday to work on it and I can't be without a single word in my project!

So I quickly created a slide deck for the presentation, because, sure, that's a priority. Speaking of priorities, I also took about 15 minutes to make a priority task chart in a whiteboard I had laying around (and had to dust before using). So, it's well on its way!

The afternoon comes around, I have my online class, to work on the case study for the 25th (my final group project for the semester!). We spent about 2 hours on that, and then talked a bit about Monday's thing. We're all on the same boat. We're all that meme where Spongebob spends time and effort writing and all he comes up with is an elaborate "The".

Laughing about it and spending a couple hours on another project gave me the motivation to write almost two pages, citations and all. So It's actually on its way to being done!

Can I make the rest of the project pitch on Sunday and prep the slides? I guess we'll find out.

10 days to go until the semester is over, wish me luck!
